When a stranger at an upscale hotel mistakes Mitchie for someone else, she and her best friend Suzanne hatch a plan to convince their boyfriends they are being stalked in hopes that a mystery will transform their boring relationships into an exciting adventure.

 

While the charade fails to rouse suspicion in their lovers, it does send Suzanne spiraling into paranoia, and she begins to suspect that she is the target of an internet-based conspiracy called gang stalking.

 

Meanwhile, Mitchie remains blissfully unaware that she is actually being followed. When Suzanne crosses paths with a private investigator assigned to Mitchie's case, their friendship is put to the test and a sinister scheme

beyond their wildest dreams is revealed.
